Back on the mend physically and mentally. Today was my last day of work as a teacher. I picked up my check and felt briefly elated. I feel elated again now, and sort of giggly, silly, tired and warm. But it's good. A good night. Good, good, good ( Read more... )

Work your ass off for as long as it takes to make $60-100,000, stick it in the bank and fly to India and live off the interest.

Not at all! I know two guys who lived like royalty for 9 months with major excesses on $3000. They were among English speakers and never felt uncomfortable.

They partied every single night.

If you could get there and live light, it might be worth it. I've never researched it though.
