My office is in the process of converting to Office 2007. (We're a non-profit, so we have to be a few years behind with software.) Anyway, some computers have been converted and others haven't. It's making my job kind of hellish because I am never sure what is going to work (WebEx and e-mail newsletter rendering problems detected so far) for whom.

I try to commute to work by bike or bus as much as possible. In part, I commute by bike or bus to "walk the walk" (or ride the walk, uh...whatever!) with regard to reducing global warming. My boss said today in a meeting with me and my supervisor that he thinks it makes more sense to move his administrative support back to our Philly office, as he spends most of his time there anyway. My horoscope today announced that I am horribly allergic to boredom. I think this is true...I start getting antsy when I feel like I am not "going anywhere" or doing anything I want to be doing. It's interesting what people's offices smell like when they're not there. The office manager's office smells like a warm/spicy/febreze-y perfume type scent. I can't really place it, but it seems nice. The media/marketing dude's office smells like oatmeal cookies ( Read more... )
