River is walking carefully and deliberately with about 5 pies in each hand and 3 on her head, attached to each pie is a note with someones name on it in eeever so

[While River has pies, Buffy has boxes. Two of them, to be precise. All day she has been carting them back and forth but now, seeing the other young women, she pauses.]

River?

[myowndrumbeat]

[Looks over at her and arches an eyebrow]

Slayer? [Pauses at a doorway and looks at the number next to it before neatly setting one of the pies down onto the doorstep]

Shh. [Buffy would wave her hands frantically, except they're busy balancing boxes.] That's sorta kinda a secret, you know?

[myowndrumbeat]

[Smiles with a distinctly feral appearance for a moment before nodding] Certainly Buffy.

[Neatly tilts one of the stacks of pies in her hands, the top pie sliding off towards Buffy's hands]

[Vash has been walking around thinking about this weird letter he got when - HOLY CRAP! It's the ghost!]

[myowndrumbeat]

[Paying no obvious attention to Vash at the moment, she calmly continues going about her deliveries]

[Vash is going to watch quietly. Do ghosts usually go around giving out pies?]

...[Pauses after setting one down, shifting through a few pies and then setting most of them down until only one is still in her hands

she WHIRLS AROUND AND THROWS IT WITH DEAD PERFECT ACCURACY AT VASH]

[...Whoa, that's really impressive. H catches sight of this and he can't help but well, look oddly at it. It's an impressive feat]

[myowndrumbeat]

[Walks past him without even stopping... and then pauses, walks backwards until she's standing next to him and sets all the pies down neatly in stacks, taking a note out of her pocket and writing hastily, yet somehow perfectly, folding the note up and slipping it into en envelope, she sticks it on a pie and hands it to him]

...[All silently]

[...Well. That's intriguing. For now he's going to open up that envelope there so that he can see what's on it]

[She'll be turning and walking off, going about her business

but inside the envelope is a long detailed letter, all written in Chinese (which can be understood after staring at it for a bit due to the language barrier being removed), describing each and every important event in the Lieutenants life]

[Walking around. Which way is the grocery store again? Oh wait - who's that?]

Oh my! Do be careful, miss! Do you need a hand with those?

....[Looks at him warily, still holding several pies on her arms, though most of them seem to have been delivered at this point]

As a gentleman, it would be impolite of me not to offer my assistance to a lady.

[Walking over - the pie smells good] Did you bake these yourself?

[myowndrumbeat]

[Neatly sets her remaining pies down on the ground silently, taking one pie out of the stack and handing it to Brook with a ghost of a smile]

[Turns back around and sets down her last pie, dusting her hands off slowly]
