I've always hated my hair and how unmanageable it is. I have very curly, classic Irish-girl hair. It's hard to just wear it down and natural because it gets poofy very easily and looks boxy.

I have always always always dreamed of getting a short bob, but am afraid my hair will be 10x more unmanageable than it is now and just become an afro.

Right so... I used Garnier Nutrisse pre-lightener for the first time today a few hours after using Boots colour stripper, which kinda worked. I had a few bleach streaks in my hair anyway, which were coming out. I had last used some red hair dye in August, and dyed it over black hair dye from Easter time. I am trying to grow out my hair midway between my shoulders and my elbows. I need a new cut pretty soon because what I have is starting to tangle and look messy.
