My hair is looking mighty blah lately. I shaved my head in the beginning of October, and this is my attempt at growing it out. I've spent the last four years of my life with the sides of my head shaved, or at least really short hair and I dyed it every week a new color (blue pink red any color you can think of it has been). Desperate need of some help

As it is very warm this summer, and as I've been growing my hair since junior year of high school (4 years) I am in need for some changes. I want to go short, I think, but I have some concerns:
