Harajuku..I guess it is a place that one ought to visit just to get a sense of what the hype is all about. Personally, I felt out of place in this vibrant and fashionable neighbourhood and I agree completely with the tour book that says, "anyone over 25 is apt to feel ancient here." Oh yes. I love unagi and once in a while I will buy those pre-cooked unagi from Japanese supermarket and make unagi don or fried rice. Yummy stuff. So it was a lovely treat when Stvn decided that we should check out a 1-Michelin Star restaurant that specializes in unagi. Located three minutes by foot from the west gate of Ryogoku Station of JR Sobu Line, we were glad to take shelter from the cold as it started to snow lightly when we got to Edo-Tokyo.
