Postscript: In Defense of Boy Bands

As I was scrolling through my Pulse (mobile app) news feed the other day, I came across an article entitled “The One Direction NYC Pop-Up Store” which, oddly enough, had a little gem of a quote at the end of it that completely supports my theory:

Summary: Music critics and the general population are quick to scoff at pop music and boy bands in particular because their lyrics are considered cheesy and overly sentimental and set unrealistic expectations for what to expect with love in the real world. But I argue that this is not the case.

Summary: I lived in Florida from 1993 to 2004. I went to Disney World at least two times a year. More than twenty times total. A lot of crazy shit happened during those trips.
