Normally, I turn my nose up at people's lame new year's resolutions, but this year I have one for myself.  I vow to eat way less junk food.  That means fast food burgers, pizza, take-out meals, and subs.

Today is cleaning day - though we haven't started yet.  Too busy watching backlogged episodes of NarutoI woke up early this morning and hit the stores following a hint that some retailers might be holding some Wii's back to sell today.  All for naught though - there are still none to be found ( Read more... )

The bathroom is done and I can honestly say that the shower I had last night easily ranks in the top 5 best showers evar.  The whole room is amazing and it's already obvious that the whole project has been well worth the time and effort that it has demanded.

The opening cinematic for Mark of Chaos is amazing in many of the same ways that the opening cinematic for Dawn of War is.  The CG is as close to photo realistic as I've seen and the direction is spot on.  Worth the price of admission if only for the awesome Bloodthirster at the end.

My only nephew is on day 3 of his hospital stay.  He's had some sort of insect bite on his leg and now they're concerned about the infection.  They're suggesting his spleen is swollen and they're not sure if the infection has spread to his bones.  They moved him to McMaster in Hamilton for further and more elaborate tests.  The official story right ( Read more... )
