I'm all hollow-chested now. This is so so sad, but the structure and flow make it beautiful, too. I'm going to go sniffle into my tea.

Yeah, I agree...as I read this a kind of dull ache just filled my chest. You have very lyrical writing. I really love how this was done--short and poignant. Now I wanna hug Remus...;__;

i love this so so much! I love the pov it was written in, and it's so sad and I totally know where it's going but I want to stop it. :(

Beautiful. That's the only way to describe this :)

I love the lyrical style with which this is written. You start out saying that people are like trains, and it's kind of like "Okay, sure..." But you manage to convince us. It's a beautiful metaphor, and wonderfully executed.

I absolutely adore the bit about the hummingbirds. It's just so eloquent. (I'm using up my mental thesaurus here, but I don't want to be too repetitive.)

You've managed to capture things falling apart, and yet staying together but really falling apart slowly. The writing slowly crushes you as you read, deflating you while filling you with hollow emptiness.

Brilliant.

Wow, that was beautiful and so freaking tragic. I love the analogy of the train and it just makes so much sense. I also love the bit with the hummingbirds. Soooo good!
