Note to self: avoid teaching Maymester ever again, if at all possible.  Or, at the very least, limit such teaching to classes you've taught before.

Sooo...I have gained a little too much weight since my last baby check-up.  Therefore, I have resolved to exercise in some fashion every day.  Today I took Baldr for a 40 minutes walk, and it was lovely.  Of course, the only problem with walks in general is that they are somewhat limited by my ever-shrinking bladder.  e_e ( Read more... )

Whoot! My Soom Euclase finally arrived today! I've been waiting on this guy since October =^_^=.

I ordered him without faceup or blushing (didn't realize I was going to end up pregnant, and therefore unable to use MSC sealant for quite a whiel), so this isn't the greatest shot yet, but otherwise he is soooo cool.

Virginia got roped into going to a "Pure Romance" party, mainly because she had to deliver a cake...I went along as moral support.  I must say, the ecchi version of a tupperware party is pretty disturbing...funny...but disturbing.

Went to see Watchmen last night.  Seriously considered throwing things at stupid teenagers down the row.  Concur with reviewers that last 15 minutes lost the tone.  Entire movie worth it just for Rorschach.

Cleaning...such an exciting way to spend a Spring Break.  I am going to see Watchmen tomorrow, at least.  I'm really hoping that it is good, even with the changes.

Obviously I've been really remiss in my updating recently...I think I've been in the zone of "too much to talk about".  This is for both good and bad things...I've somewhat resolved to be better about this ( Read more... )

I think churches that like to put cute attention grabbers on their info signs should really vet them with a non-member first...I saw one today that read "Free trips to Heaven, inquire inside."  Now, I know what sentiment they were trying to give there, but the first thing to go through my head was "Whoa, Heaven's Gate."  Don't drink the Koolaid.
