Wow. This was one amazing ride. I always love it when people end up the way they should have (or close to it, anyway). You know, if the Fleet had some more psychologists around ;)

I loved the way you integrated the Dollhouse people into the BSG world so seemlessly. And Adelle having her own agenda is, well, duh, Adelle :). Joss Whedon himself couldn't have done a better job ;).

Basically, the only problem I have with this, is that it wasn't longer *smirks evilly at the glare I know you're giving me*. Kidding :p. It still is tabula rAsa, though. But I'm just one of those nitpicky people who can't get over tiny little details. Feel free to ignore my whining ;).

But you never did say what happened to Topher and Adelle on Earth 2.0? And Sierra and Victor?

Thanks! I'm so glad you really enjoyed it and the Joss Whedom comment made me grin from ear to ear ( ... )

the Joss Whedon comment made me grin from ear to ear.

This whole fic made me do that :).

I AM sure that Victor and Sierra had a happily ever after. Topher and Adelle probably had reasonable lives, too, and the tech was not used again...

They're growing tomatoes, like in Epitaph 2. They're probably Baltar's neighbours.

You could have incorporated it in that robot-epilogue-thing with head!Baltar and head!Six, though ;)
All of this has happened before... And there are always terrorists around to stop it.

It took me a while to get in the mood to read this. I watched the first season of Dollhouse, and lost interest before the second started.

But this fic is really haunting. It really creeps my out in ways the show never managed to. I suppose it has something to do with knowing what Gaeta, Racetrack, and Narcho are like or maybe just how you slowly spun out how wrong it was. Using a Zak Adama imprint was inspired. It sent chills down my spine reading about and I loved the variety of reaction he invoked.

Thanks so much! The Dollhouse tech was so much fun in this verse because this is the one verse I can almost make a case for it based on necessity, but yeah- it still veers into "so wrong" pretty quickly. I'm glad you liked the Zak idea- I had a lot of fun with that.

Thanks for reading and commenting!

Very interesting fic. I never watched Dollhouse, but I certainly got what was going on.

A very fitting ending for Zarek, I think.

And I'm glad Helo and Felix were finally able to forgive each other, even if they had to struggle to do it.

Thanks so much! I was hoping it would be followable :)

I definitely think Zarek would have liked dying in a blaze of glory. And I'm glad you liked Helo and Felix- they were my favorite part of the fic :)

Oh, man, I finished this a few days ago and haven't had the chance to leave proper feedback, and now I don't remember everything I wanted to say!

Ok, um, let's see. I love it. I love the Active technology being used in this way, in a way that, with Racetrack volunteering especially, it's kind of hard to protest, because it's actually doing good.

I love to death Helo as Gaeta's Handler. That was extremely well-played, how they kept that connection once it was over, even though they still had so much anger to work through. Just yes.

And oh my! I did not see the Zak twist coming, nor did I anticipate Adelle turning on Roslin (though I SHOULD HAVE. Lissa give Laura Active architecture and just LET THINGS BE?? AHAHAH NEVER!) Really, I was expecting you to go the obvious route of imprinting Gaeta with Billy, so there were so many pleasant surprise twists and turns in here. Now I'm glad I decided to stop reading the posts where you asked questions so I was pretty unspoiled for this fic. :D

Basically, I love it. :)

Thanks! I had a lot of fun with this, especially with the range of responses from the Actives.

Helo as Gaeta's handler wasn't the original plan, but I am so, SO, SO glad that it ended up that way. That is my favorite part of the fic :)

And I'm glad you didn't see Zak coming! The point I knew I had this fic was when I came up with the idea of Zak being an imprint.

Thanks so much, and I'm so glad you loved it! :)

Yay! Love the last couple of lines. I found that scene with Helo and Gaeta and the script in the last chapter quite creepy, and this turn-around was a great way to relieve that tension.

Like stellawind, I found the premise of Dollhouse much more captivating in your fic than on the original show, and I too believe it has a lot to do with the fact that I knew to care for these characters. I'd never have thought this story could work so extremely well, though. It's a very impressive bit of writing.

I loved all the characterizations, particularly of the DH characters, and I enjoyed all the Laura/Adelle interaction. Adelle is a great match for Laura. And yeah, I know I'm easy, but it was still fun to see Laura be outwitted. ;) My like for Laura grows a lot immediately when she isn't the resident Gandalf - I don't dislike her, just the part she plays.

I'm very glad I got to read this fic so soon. It's excellent and a great read.

Thanks so much! The Helo-Gaeta scene in the brig in the last chapter was supposed to be pretty creepy- it's almost like they've had forgiveness forced on them- and this one is them making the decision to forgive each other.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I really had a lot of fun writing this, and I'm glad you liked it :) Thanks for all your comments- I appreciate them immensely! :)
