monday's little detour to the hospital

It’s been far too long since I updated this thing. My only excuse is that the awards ate my brain. They are kind of like zombies that way, I guess, because once I’m done with them I don’t have any desire to even *look* at a computer anymore. I keep hearing that the ‘hard’ part is over, though, and it hasn’t been too hard- just tedious and time

They always say "It could have been worse" and that's true. You could have been on a highway. Your car could have just stopped functioning at a moderate rate of speed (of course not over the speed limit), you'd automatically step on the brakes, the car behind would hit you and if they were driving at a much faster pace, send your face forcefully against the steering wheel or windshield.

Yep. You are very lucky it happened when and where it did.
