1. Saw Brave a few weeks ago, which was cute enough, but not one of my favorites from Pixar. Still, I am happy to see that it did pretty well in box offices and will hopefully persuade studios to make more kids movies featuring female protagonists. Also on the movie front: am excited for Magic Mike (which I'll be seeing next weekend with BFF M)

i felt like brave was far more a disney film than it was a pixar film. if i'm being objective, the narrative felt short, disjointed, and horribly rushed. i really enjoyed it, i swear, but yeah. didn't feel like pixar to me.
