I love aquariums and strange fish and sea creatures deep in the ocean near the abyssal plane, which where most of the bioluminscent creatures in the world live. That exhibit sounds fascinating. I had no idea there were luminescent mushrooms!

...aaand I just saw that Awake has been canceled. Dammit.

Yeah, there were only 3 species of luminescent mushrooms that were on display--it's actually extremely rare to run across creatures on land that are bioluminescent (compared to water dwelling organisms).

I'm not too surprised about Awake being canceled, but it is disappointing :( Alas. Hopefully the finale will be good?
