...I just took the COBRA certification test (which I was signed up for on Wednesday/completed the reading and quizzes by Thursday), and I got an 86, so I passed that too! I am excited. I don't think anyone else in my department (other than my boss) has even attempted the COBRA test. I feel very accomplished...I was able to fix my nails today ( Read more... )

Boooo....no sleep. I love/hate the playoffs. At least I was productive and simultaneously cleaned out drawers while watching the game. But now, I shall get at most a lovely 5ish hours of sleep tonight...blah. Thank God there is a Starbucks across from my work...gonna need a quadruple shot energy latte tomorrow morning, that's for sure.

I am so sick of this year. I can't remember the last time I was genuinely happy and not worried about anything. So now to add to the saga that is my life, obviously my dad's foot (which was not completely healed from last time) got worse, so he went to the doctor's today and...surprise...got admitted to the hospital. My mom came home on Friday, finally, after 2 weeks in the hospital/rehab. Our house looks like an old age home. We have a commode, a shower seat, a removable shower head (which is actually good, as it makes the water stay warm longer for whatever reason), walkers, bed tables, and my mom is wheelchair-bound for what could be 3 months. I ran after Greg yesterday like an asshole, and my ankle did that thing it does where it goes sideways. I'm convinced it will break doing this one day. So I ran today. I ran 1.96 fucking miles in 22 minutes. 0.04 away from winning a computer. I didn't stop though...ran my ass off. That was almost 2 hours ago now and I'm still dizzy. I am proud of myself though...I did way better than I thought I could ever do. Just sucks that it wasn't good enough. sigh.
