The Soo boys are nothing if not highly predictable. The final dish prepared in Pixar's Ratatouille, Confit Byaldi (apparently French for "fancy pants ratatouille"?), was actually conceived by Thomas Keller (of French Laundry fame), and the recipe has hit the web.

So. Today I went to La Palette on Peter B.'s recommendation. It's an excellent, excellent little french bistro tucked into a small little space in Kensington Market (so small that we walked right by it the first time without even realizing it). ...and the French version of the book comes with a 48-page BD, but the english version only comes only with an introduction by Anthony Bourdain. Dammit! Why couldn't they have translated the BD instead?
