BaconSalt and Deer Tick
The Soo boys are nothing if not highly predictable. Within 12 hours of finding out about BaconSalt (thanks for the link, Nadine!), my brother ordered a bottle of the stuff, so in 1-3 weeks, we will find out if we can really make everything taste like bacon (what happens when you put BaconSalt on bacon? Will the universe IMPLODE??). We certainly do loves our bacon 'round these parts. :)
Currently listening to Deer Tick, who I like very very much. John McCauley's voice is incredible. Caught them live earlier this week, and it was a great performance capped off with a roaring cover of "La Bamba" that put a goofy grin on everyone's faces (it saddened me that they were playing to a room of less than a dozen people, but oh well).

They were selling their new album War Elephant, their first full studio album at the show, and it hits stores Sept. 4th. Also: bass playing girls = HOTT
