Fire Update
My mom is still at home and hasn't been asked to evacuate. Although they didn't get any rain in the area today, the temperatures were cooler (85 instead of 95), and it wasn't as windy ( Read more... ) -
Kinda Freaked Out
There is a large fire just a few miles away from my mom's house, and it is 0% contained. The fire is west of her and was moving north-ish. When I talked to her this morning they had evacuated the town about 1 1/2 miles north of her (Bellvue, CO, where many of my friends live), though she had not gotten a reverse 911 call telling her to evacuate ( Read more... )
