okay, I was not prepared for this weather! They said a coating or an inch or two, and it is STILL SNOWING. If I'd known, I'd have done the grocery shopping last night instead of just stopping off for toothpaste. I didn't even go out for coffee this morning! Yeah, the news led me to expect much less snow than we got too. Terribly slippery snow too, with my car nearly sliding out into a parked car when I made a right turn onto a street. Fortunately, my old Pennsylvania mountains snow driving training came back to me and I halted in time.

I didn't even venture out yesterday. This morning was bad enough, even though mostly a path was cleared. I was still worried about the stoop of my building.

You mentioned season 2 of Supernatural, which was easily my favorite season of the show. Never felt the urge to write for it, though.

Generally, I end up writing fic because the show has some holes I want to fill, I'm attracted to the worldbuilding and want to play with it, and especially because I like the characters and feel called to do something with them.

I miss having fans I can discuss meta with, but in recent years I've been having trouble finding fans to talk to about the shows I want to talk about. I'm not a Tumblr or a Twitter person.

It's my favorite season of the show, too, and it hit a lot of my buttons in terms of the family dynamics, so I wrote a lot of fic for it!

especially because I like the characters and feel called to do something with them.

That's usually what hooks me - the characters and relationships.

I miss having fans I can discuss meta with, but in recent years I've been having trouble finding fans to talk to about the shows I want to talk about.

Yeah, there's a lot less of that around, and I don't find it on tumblr either, or not in a way that makes it easy to actually have a conversation.
