you risk the strike 'em out, throw 'em out double play

So I have been doing an important and totally scientific survey of chocolate covered fruit snacks in the past few weeks, and I can wholeheartedly recommend the Dove dark chocolate+fruit combinations, though I'd say the cherries are best, then the cranberries, then the blueberries ( Read more... )

I was expecting Luna to be a black or biracial girl and was disappointed when she wasn't.

I'm pretty sure she is. Her father is German, mother is Tunisian. She's talked in interviews about being bullied for her hair and Germans' reactions to how different she looks.

Well, then I stand corrected.

i did not need kane's crucifixion either! just... what the hell, show! i guess that was to make up for not actually killing anyone this episode.

i figured the point of the flashbacks was to show us how much some of the kids have changed - mostly murphy, but also octavia, who was such a shrinking violet on the ark and is now kinda take-charge and badass - and to show pike not being all "the grounders are the enemy! we have to kill them and take their land!" he needed another dimension.

I'll give you Octavia and the other kids, but has Murphy really changed though?

and to show pike not being all "the grounders are the enemy! we have to kill them and take their land!" he needed another dimension.

He did, but the time for that was, like, five episodes ago. Sigh.

At this point I'm confused over who they're allowed to kill. There's no consistency. The only one I agree with is that it would be bad news if "Black Canary" openly and publicly killed the mayor. I would've let Digg kill Ruve.

You already know why I'm "..." over Ollie outing Laurel as Black Canary, but I guess the show isn't going to bother about... or even realize?... the actual legal ramifications so la la la.

I felt the 100 flashbacks were pretty meaningful in how they showed us these people as they used to be and who they are now. Bellamy is getting off way too easily so far--blame Octavia for all this?--and I hope the show doesn't let him.

I'm very amused by Alison, Helena, and Donnie as the murder/crime family. "The police aren't here for this old murder, they're here about the new ones!"

Kira kind of repulses me at this point.

Diggle just seems to shoot people - are those tranqs? Or do the mayor's driver and bodyguard not count? The show's always been iffy on the way it kills off henchmen but won't go for the big bad.

I hope so too! I'm not sure how they can rehab him and I'm not sure I want to watch them try.

So hilarious. I mean, if they come back is Alison going to have to pretend to be Helena pretending to be her? Or will Helena just always pretend to be Alison for the police?

Arrow is pretty inconsistent about when killing is okay, so who knows?

Yeah, since Orphan Black loves to tangle its characters up in consequences I can't help but think that passing Helena off as Alison is going to bite them later and that they can't get away with subbing Helena in only for the police. Inevitably, someone will cross the streams. I don't think "My wife randomly adopts an Eastern European accent" will go over well.

Especially since as whatever elected position Alison is (something with the school?), won't she occasionally have to make speeches in public? That anyone could attend?
