Re: the trailer.  I was in absolute awe and then "Underoos!"   I may have cracked inside from the sound of excitement I made.

I was spoiled (if one can be spoiled for a trailer, which...I don't think one can be?) for that, but there are definitely some !!! moments throughout.

On reflection, less excitement and more....I don't know, I came away from the first Avengers movie making detailed jokes with my husband about Spiderman's conspicuous absence from the Battle of New York, so we were both tickled he is actually in the mix now.  Though, they do ruin my fantasy with essentially casting Peter Parker to have been what, 9 or 10 during the battle?  And it makes me nuts knowing how crowded this movie is (I just want a Captain America is Everything movie one more time.  Not too much to ask, right?!).  Blargh.

I may have hopped out of my seat at work when Steve said, "I could do this all day." Maybe, no confirmation, though.

i watched the trailer at work and because i'm surrounded by people i have to keep my squee and flail to a minimum - because how am i going to explain that i need to take three minutes out of my sort-of-busy day to watch a movie trailer? - and steve's "i can do this all day" gave me some epic internal spaz. just... that really is steve in a nutshell, and tony does not get it. but i'd hazard a guess tony doesn't get most things where steve is concerned. i mean, he apparently thinks they're good friends.

i am super curious how they explain natasha being on tony's side. well, i gather it's less "tony's side" and more "pro-reg". like, she's not doing it because of him. i loved her and steve's relationship in catws and i'm disappointed they're on opposite sides in cacw. but we'll see! i'd like to think they're still friends, just there's this thing they don't agree on.

and in conclusion, more hugs for steve and bucky. :D

I'm also interested to see how they play Natasha's decision, because even though I've seen arguments in favor of her being pro-reg, none of them feel compelling enough to me in the movieverse.

For me, this decision will make or break the movie. I cannot see it right now, but maybe they'll wow me with something I don't expect. But this decision holds far more weight in my mind than any other, most especially Steve-Tony because seriously? You're gonna hang your drama on that? Come on.

"Bellamy's okay with slaughter except with it hits someone he knows/cares about"I actually think this is right on. Bellamy cares about those he defines as his people, period. Which is really only the people from the Ark, plus Lincoln. I think he showed mercy to Indra purely because of Octavia; if it had been anyone else there, they'd be dead. And while Lincoln's in jail, he's not in physical peril, so Bellamy may actually think he's helping him ( ... )
