I also agree with Major though I sympathize with Liv. Even if I understood/was okay with the lying, when he checked himself into a mental hospital, she should have come clean. Because that is just an awful thing to do to a person.
I wondered if she'd give Blaine the cure, but I'd forgotten about it by the time that scene at Meat Cute so I was like, "Holy crap! I can't believe she did that!" but I am also glad they kept him around. And he'll be a good enemy to keep close when they team up against Max Rager.
i honestly don't even remember most of the case. just lots of major. poor major. :( liv really did make a bad decision in zombifying him, altho i think it was an understandable decision, altho i also think he was totally justified in his reaction. damn straight he should be pissed at her. she let him think he was crazy! she let him commit himself! she lied to him (sometimes by omission) a lotis it wrong that one of my favorite things about him going ballistic at meat cute was that he was super hot doing it? i mean, the close combat, the guns, the grenade, just... *fans self
( ... )
Well, yes, once Major got going, the case receded, but at the 26 minute mark, I was feeling a little let down. And no, it's not wrong to think he was superhot! I also liked the little white streak in his hair after he was a zombie. Major! Who'da thunk it?
it will be interesting to see how he manages as a human again. is he going to try and rebuilt his brain-selling empire?
He might, especially if he's immune to being turned again (though not immune to getting killed, so I dunno), and I expect him and Liv to be reluctant allies against Max Rager at some point.
It really is. and I like a lot of classic rock and even some songs that are eight minutes long, but this was about 5 and a half minutes too much for me. *g*
It started out slow but certainly picked up! Damn, those zombies messed with the wrong youth counselor. I'm curious if he always had this inside him or if this is purely from the hell he's seen and been through recently

That's a really interesting question! I mean, he *was* a football player, so he was channeling his aggression somewhere mostly harmless, and I'm sure the videogames help, but he didn't need to eat sniper brains to plan and run that assault.
I don't blame Major at all! I just think Liv made some poor but understandable choices. And I don't think she's told her mom about being a zombie, but saying she's contracted Hep C from a corpse in the morgue would get her out of donating to Evan, and she could deal with the consequences of that lie under less stressful circumstances. Though as Rob Thomas says in the interview - I'm the audience member who wants all the secrets out! Though I have to say I had a lot more sympathy for Liv here than I ever had for Barry and Joe doing it to Iris on the The Flash.
That was some planning and marksmanship he showed, and he barely hesitated on killing any of them. There's a huge difference between killing "people" in a game through a controller and shooting an actual gun at actual, albeit undead, people. To think that Major seemed so harmless in the first episodes....
I want the secrets out too! (A lot of the CW's shows this year had the corrosive nature of secrets as a theme: Arrow, Supernatural, The Flash....) Liv's reasons are so much better than Joe's "I know best because patriarchy." I give Barry a little credit for wanting to tell her but he didn't because he bowed his head to his father figure's demands instead.

And Der Kommisar! Such a great scene!
