I definitely have a problem keeping track of what has happened in my fics. I read through and it's like someone else wrote that scene, who wrote that scene!? Which is problematic. But I'm an old, so there you go.

Yeah, I have that reaction sometimes too. "Wait, what is going on in this story? I wrote that?"

I'd write more if I had more betas, since talking about things with other people while they're in progress sparks my imagination. These days I have one, who's great but she's not even really in the fandom I write anymore so if I don't bring up the series myself, she won't.

Yeah, I find having someone else who is excited and engaged and wants to talk about what I'm writing makes writing go a lot faster. With most of my friends in different fandoms these days, it's hard.

SO agreed on Harry/Hermione/Ron. I don't like Harry/Hermione at ALL, and honestly I think Hermione/Ron will end in a horribly messy divorce, but when the Trio are all together I get all verklempt.

Aw, I think Ron/Hermione has a shot, mostly because I've known couples like them who've been happily married for years. But I like it best when it's all three of them together.
