I feel that Rachel hasn't been written correctly for many years, and who she's written as now really annoys me.

I'm not really familiar with her so this is my first time reading her in an actual comic, and so far, she's the only one I don't immediately love.

I liked her in Uncanny X-Men in the '80s and the early years of Excalibur. Modern interpretations seem to revolve just around her being Jean Grey and Scott Summers' child from a different future, and there used to be more to her than that. But the A vs. X thing didn't think of her connection to the Phoenix force either, so apparently nobody writing her these days read back that far.
