It's really weird to me to be writing from the POV of a character who has no strong voice in my head. It's not something I do very often, usually because the reason I start writing in the first place is that the voice is strong enough to demand a story. But this story didn't start with the voice, it started with the image and the circumstances

I managed to catch a promo for the new season of Treme yesterday on HBO before The Making of Game of Thrones, amusingly. Cannot wait! Jon Seda was great in The Pacific, though I'll probably always think of him first as Selena's husband. ;)

I don't actually have HBO, so I have to um, acquire Treme after the fact, but the Game of Thrones commercials and posters have been everywhere!

I haven't watched the Pacific yet. Possibly it will make me thaw a little towards Seda, I dunno.

That GW episode was utterly ridiculous. I know it was just filler for the combined 5 minutes of substance but I've come to expect more from the writers. I like America Ferrara and hope she'll be back. Eli and Alicia were love! I want next season to be about Eli convincing Alicia to get into politics.

Oh Alicia! It being Kalinda, one of the few people she trusts just sucks and nooooooooooooooooooooo! Their friendship is one of the best things about the show. They'll work it out, yes? I wish I could remember the conversation they'd had about Peter when Kalinda went to visit him in jail S1.

One thing though, how is that Kalinda went from Leela to Kalinda just two years ago and no one knew? Or did Peter meet her as Leela, helped change her into Kalinda and then she joined the office? But she's a pretty good PI and you don't just become that in 2 years. Or have I missed something? I don't know why I have in my head thata Kalinda became Kalinda about 8 years ago.
