I also think the description of any story containing Dick and a person who is past the age of puberty and isn't, like, Bruce or Alfred, should contain the words "and then there was kissing," because, you know, it wouldn't even be all that far from canon. Also, also, one of the things that tickles me greatly about fanart people post of him on tumblr is how he always talks in hearts. He is made of sparkly hearts, guys. Even as Batman.

Oh man, I was reading the Who Is Donna Troy? trade the other day (which is AWESOME, BTW, it's basically all about Dick and Donna being the best BFFs ever) and at Donna's wedding, Bruce and Dick go out on this balcony to talk about how Dick feels kind of weird that Bruce is adopting Jason but he never adopted Dick, and while they're having this very serious conversation, there's a cluster of women in the background admiring Dick's ass. So much this! I only link to tumblr stories when I'm 90% sure that the author doesn't have an AO3 (I totally stalk people who write awesome fic - just in case they've written more). Most people don't know how to do cut-equivalents on tumblr and the comment thing is impossible.

Exactly! I think also you are more invested in Tim than I am, so it didn't really occur to me that he'd be upset on a more than superficial level. (I also am not really sure what issues lie between him and Steph at this point - her letting him think she was dead is pretty huge on its own and I don't know that they've worked that out, but apparently there are other things?)
If Tim got to watch he's probably feel better about it but I think he would be very upset.

Why would anyone post fic on tumblr? It's unpossible to leave decent feedback, for one thing. AO3 is just as cost-free as tumblr! And you can get kudos or comments! People are confusing.
I don't know! I mean, there's the "like" feature, which is like kudos? But there's no good way to leave a real comment. It just seems completely infeasible to me.
My hand to god, I was reading this long story about Kon and I kept waiting for Tim to show up, and then Kon hooked up with some other guy, and I literally said, out loud, hands clutched to my chest like I was in pain, "BUT KON NEEDS HIS TIM!" and then I was like, "I cannot believe I just said that out loud." *facepalm*
It's TRUE though. There is no truer thing in my version of the DCU.

Exactly! I think also you are more invested in Tim than I am, so it didn't really occur to me that he'd be upset on a more than superficial level.
