I would 100% love to read this after nano is over. I think at one point in college i won a blue beetle action figure in a raffle and it sat on my desk for a long time, but I wonder if I maybe lost it in the move.

Jamieeeeee :D The only two fics I remember are the one where Tim meets the parents and the one where Jamie and Milagro have ice cream, but I remember really enjoying them both.

Blue Beetles are always awesome.

There's a handful of shortish fic at Boostle: my recs are:

The More They Stay The Same:
Jaime's evil alternate self isn't quite as fearsome as advertised.

Like Father, Like Son:
The Reyes Family.

Homemade Traditons:
mother's day doesn't exactly translate.

Teen Mom:
Jaime is so the 'mom.'

::makes a note to read Blue Beetle::

Vic, have you read Joss's Astonishing X-Men? Really fun and engaging and the art is easy to follow.

The art may be easy to follow, but I found the story hard to follow since it was so dependent on Grant Morrison's New X-Men run, which I hadn't read. I had to consult Wikipedia, and then I got Wikispoiled. That may have only been the second trade, though. The others are pretty good.

Huh! I don't think I'd read any of the Grant Morrison New X-Men yet when I read Astonishing and I didn't have that trouble.

But I just read The Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite due to a rec from you, and I DID find that story hard to follow. Some of the art, too. But I liked it, even though it confuzzled me in places.

Dallas is even crazier! I love UA. Gerard Way is clearly a huge Grant Morrison fan.
