Last night, I had a spur of the moment dinner with marksykins and mousapelli at Bubby's. There was really good cheese macaroni, and there was super tasty key lime pie. Mmm...pie... Also, fangirls who are awesome and who I hadn't seen in far too long! So that was good

I remember marathoning S1 with inmyriadbits (I think we caught up right before Dead Man's Blood, which was well-timed of us), and during Bugs, a spider dropped down next to her and she freaked out. It was the funniest damn thing EVER.

It's amazing how SPN sticks with you, isn't it? Even when I've been angry with the show, or haven't watched in ages, it's been such a strong constant presence in my fannish life, and I'm not even close to done with it yet.

Hi, you don't know me, but I've been mainlining your girl!Sam fic over the past week and man, AWESOME. I watched like one and a half episodes of SPN ages ago and decided it wasn't my thing (too many girls running around in white nightgowns and getting slaughtered) and all the discussion I've stumbled across about the show not really valuing its (few) female characters hasn't made me change my mind. BUT DAMN YOUR FIC HAS MADE ME DOUBT THIS LIFE CHOICE. Maybe I could just watch and *pretend* Sam is a girl?
