our patented wish-granter 3000

I was tired and cranky, and I was going to post a list of things that are irritating me, but then I remembered that there was a NEW MUPPETS CHRISTMAS SPECIAL on tonight, and that made me happy. Well, that, and three meals made of leftover risotto (there are few things in life that cannot be improved by some time in a splash of olive oil over medium ( Read more... )

Charlie pissed some people off, who then threatened Ted. In order to get at Charlie, they got some cops to pull Ted over and plant drugs and gun in his car, violating his parole. Ted's face when he realized what was happening broke me. :/

angel_grace wrote a good Charlie/Rachel fic. It's a 'ship I'm definitely into.

OMG SHOW WHY?

But seriously, it was cool. Also, TED. DDDDDDDDD: I was so afraid for him, but then! Go, Charlie!

Also, CHarlie's dad? He was so... impotent. It was like, he really wanted his kid back, but there's so much pain in between them that he can't get across.

I totally want bad wrong Charlie/Rachel fic. Please tell me there is some.

If you find some, share with the class? I have been searching for weeks, and other than the one by angel_grace, I keep coming up frustratingly dry.

...shame is for people who are not me, apparently. :)

I wish Chuck would stop seeing her father as superman, though. I find it really irritating.

Oh, I agree with that, yet I can see completely where it comes from. Chuck is still stuck at 9 years old when it comes to her dad. He's back, she's got a second chance with him, and she desperately wants to hold onto that hero worship she obviously had as a child. Granted that's most likely because he was the only parental figure in her life when she was a child, but considering I still have knee-jerk reactions to parental figures, and I'm an adult, I can see where she comes from.

Oh, I get why it is happening, but I feel like she should at least try to listen to what Ned is telling her. When Ned is being the sensible one, that should be a warning, you know?
