Silly strike. I mean i know there are plenty of reasons for it but the fact that my show might only end up being 12 episodes this season and after that who knows what will happen to it considering the CW doesn't really seem to support the show, leaves me sad and apprehensive.

I know, but on the plus side, think about this - nothing else the CW puts in that time slot would do better, considering it's the worst slot on the schedule, and SPN at least is a known quantity, and after a long strike, I don't think the perennial fifth-place network will be too quick to get rid of it.
