R. and I went to see Waitress this evening. It stars Keri Russell and Nathan Fillion, and I wrote about it here last month. It was lovely - sweet and wistful and funny and tense, and it featured some of the most gorgeous looking pies I've ever seen in my life.

Oh my god, it makes me want pie so badly.

I want to see Waitress...but it makes me think of Adrienne Shelley's murder, and I think I need to get over that before I can see Waitress. :( I really really liked Adrienne Shelley.

Oh, I know, but it's a lovely movie, and she's lovely in it.

Yeah, he's married, but surprisingly, the movie didn't hit my adultery squick. Possibly because her marriage was so bad.

And yeah, it's not like there are any huge plot twists you can't see coming, but there were moments where I thought bad things might happen and I worried.

Plus, there is pie, lovely, delicious pie,

so, is it wrong that i saw this movie, like, the day after ahbl1 and for 30 secs was like "oh, dean! pie!" and then nathan fillion was hot and nervous and TALL.

man, this movie is so good. just like pie.

No! I kept thinking about writing a crossover where Dean and Sam show up and Jenna makes them We Killed Our Demons Pie, and then she and Dean get it on.

Nathan Fillion was wonderful, too.

Waitress is great. I went to a screening of it a few weeks ago and they were giving out free slices of pie! I think any movie experience would benefit from this.

Honestly, I can't think of any experience that wouldn't benefit from free pie.
