So I walk into the living room and ask, "Who's playing?" And the beloved says, "Yankees and Mets." "At least we know who to cheer for," I say. And the beloved says, "Well, I'm cheering for New York."

(I have no baseball icon so I use my GA -- I'm definitely following Addison out of Seattle)
gilmore girls and ugly betty both had finales that made me cry the most. gilmore girls because it was sweet and ended exactly the way i wanted it to (bye, logan!), and then ugly betty because, ouch, my heart!
Oh, Ugly Betty gutted me. I was spoiled going in - I watched it yesterday - and when Santos taught Justin how to snap his fingers, I started sobbing. Sigh.
OH, yeah, I totally recommend watching VMars in order. Season 2 has some good episodes, but the overall arc didn't thrill me - it didn't have the urgency of the first season, and the relevance to Veronica's life.
I liked the Bones finale too. It was sweet and I was able to follow most of it, even not knowing what's been happening.
Yeah, Bones is pretty episodic. You can pretty much pick it up anywhere, I think. I mean, the relationship are pretty arc-y, but simple enough to pick up on watching a couple episodes, I think. It's become my comfort show.
I still have not watched Grey's. I've actually deleted all of it off the DVR. I think we're through. Given what I've heard of the past few episodes since I last watched, I can't think this is a bad idea.
i totally support you in this decision
i've been searching out spn episodes so that i can just totally switch from grey's to spn in the fall. i was totally disappointed and upset by the last couple episodes and especially the finale.
Well, you can watch SPN on the CW site if you're in the US. I think they have all the eps up there - at least, all of season 2. You can probably get hold of the season 1 dvds for cheap.
I just... everything that I've been told by people whose opinions about the show generally run close to mine has made me think I made the right decision when I stopped watching.
I've still yet to find the last two episodes of BONES because for some reason the damn MySpace thingie isn't letting me see the video! *cries*
But I just watched the last 4 eps of Supernatural and I think I need a big cry right now... after I slap Dean upside the head a few times, then hug and pet him.
Aw, that sucks. That MySpace thing is a little weird.

Yeah, I cried a lot over the SPN finale. Oh, Dean...
