you've given me everything i need

I watched the Bones finale and enjoyed it a lot. The fight between Max and Booth in the parking lot was hilarious. I was expecting Booth to let him go - pretend he'd resisted arrest and overpowered him - but he didn't, and I think that's why I kind of love Booth.

Oh man, Beltran almost made a spectacular catch.

Anyway, Zach can't leave to go to Iraq! Wah! No breaking up the team. *is change-averse*

Hodgins and Angela's dad were funny, and Hodgins and Angela are adorable. I approve. Also, given that whole "Brennan is unable to trust her father because she's afraid he's going to leave again" thing makes me think that made she and Dean would have some ability to connect, though I don't think they'd actually acknowledge that.

Woo! Maine just struck out A-Rod.

Then, upon the suggestion of many of you guys, I watched the Gilmore Girls series finale. Which I mostly cried through, so I'm glad I did.

Oh, Luke. I finally recognize you again, after your excursion into WTF-land last season.

I thought the ironing scene was lovely, and then Lorelai watching over Rory while she sleeps. I will never be the world's biggest Rory fan, but I found her bearable in this episode. It would have been nice to see Paris and Mrs. Kim, but you can't have everything...

I pretty much cried from the point Lorelai and Rory pulled up to the party onward. Richard told her she was remarkable. *sobs* Emily wanted the spa because she wanted to stay involved in Lorelai's life. Lorelai agreed to continue Friday night dinners. Sigh. Luke and Lorelai will be happy together. That's how I am imagining it. I am pretending the last two seasons didn't happen. As far as I am concerned, this picks up from right before Rory stole the boat (yet another point that makes me all grr) and (almost) all the crap I really hated never happened.

I love that they mirrored the first episode, with the pulling back through the window of Luke's. Sigh.

Does anyone have a copy of Mighty Lemon Drops' "Inside-Out"? *bats lashes* I thought it was used perfectly in the episode.

I still have not watched Grey's. I've actually deleted all of it off the DVR. I think we're through. Given what I've heard of the past few episodes since I last watched, I can't think this is a bad idea.

I haven't watched the last two eps of VMars either, but I will watch the finale, just to say goodbye. I would have dug Veronica Mars, FBI, I think, but I also think the show never lived up to the fabulous first season, and that's probably because it was conceived as a novel, and never meant to continue on after Lilly's murder (and ostensibly, Veronica's rape) was solved.

And I just had to reboot my modem and the Mets are now losing. Sigh.

Oh, I also rewatched AHBL 1 & 2, together, and yeah, it's a little baggy, a little loose, like they didn't have enough story to fill the full 90 minutes of show time, but god, Dean breaks my heart.

Now I want to write some atmospheric emoporn. I wonder if I am still capable of that. Sigh.
