Went to see Avatar in 2D today - well, yesterday, too, but we had to leave before it ended since my sister-in-law went to the hospital. ;3; She's okay, it's just that the pregnancy is a little more difficult than we thought. Anyway, went back today and finished it, so ( here are my thoughts. )

Mirror's Edge has frustrating controls, and it glitched on me so badly that it broke my PS3 and I had to get the whole damn thing replaced. Luckily, the company covered it and I didn't need to buy a new one. I was really disappointed (and not only because it fucked my system over X[), because the concept is so cool. :[

UH, however, BioShock and Dragon Age are both spectacular, with rich and detailed stories, characters, etc. I could gush for hours about both. BioShock in particular is one of my favorite games ever.

D: Oh wow, okay. Will avoid that one then.

And will definitely get BioShock and Dragon Age since, like, all of you are giving a resounding yes on those. X3 What about BioShock 2? Have you played that?

BioShock 2 isn't out yet, but it will be in February! I've been watching all of the available previews, and it looks fantastic. What I know of the story definitely meets the standards of the first. I'm reaally excited to get my hands on it.

Prince of Persia's pretty good fun. :D If you get it for anything, get it for how lovely it looks and the dynamic between the Prince and Elika. In fact, just for Elika full stop. It IS easy though (since you can't die) and yeah, no replay value, so yeah.

So long as you get FFXIII once you get back to Japan-land. :D My plan is to live vicariously through you until I earn enough moneys for a PS3 of my very own... X3 I hear that it's quite excellent.

Other than that... I tend to childishly deny the existence of the PS3, so no super awesome recs from me. :(
