Oooo, that's a pretty impressive fence.

But Blackjack looks like a pretty impressive cat. :D

Thanks! Better cat-herding through technology. >D

He's still thin, but much better looking now that he's had 2 weeks of good food and care. He'll be gorgeous once he fills out and his coat recovers from a long winter of living rough. He was somebody's pet once upon a time, but I haven't seen any posters in the neighborhood for a lost kitty like him. I wonder if he hopped on a delivery truck and got taken for a ride? He's curious enough to do something like that.

Yeah, it's hard on the longhairs to live rough. I can't believe anyone let him go! (I guess if he wanted to they couldn't have stopped him, but wow.)

I can't believe my Madimi was in the shelter for FOUR MONTHS untaken, for that matter. Granted, she's a wicked little shredder, but...but...

You got a new kitty?? Missed the announcement! You named her Madimi? ROFL! Somehow the fact she shreds does not surprise me.

I'll check with the local POPP group to see if anyone is searching for him. He's already figured out how to put in his claim on the bed at night.

Ooh, Blackjack has such pretty blue highlights in his fur! I just want to pick him up and snug him.

He definitely sounds like a handful, energy plus curiosity. *grin* The cat-fence looks quite impressive. Where to put one in my yard... *plotting*

Blackjack likes being picked up and snugged. He has a lovely purr. <3

He's a true black cat - that's what gives us the blue highlights when his fur is clean.

The addition to the existing pen wasn't very expensive, and it will be movable with the pen itself.

That's a good looking pen, and I see spring has sprung in your neck of the woods. Blackjack looks like he's trying to figure out the new fence. :-)

Thanks! The weeping cherry is a thing of beauty. It is Hana no mi time.

He IS trying to figure out the fence, bless his fuzzy black heart.

I like the idea of this enclosure, especially since it's relatively cheap to build. But I have at least two challenges: neighbor kids who keep knocking their volleyball over the fence, and raccoons who climb over everything. The first iteration may not survive the summer, but we'll see. I've got to think about how large an area I could enclose.

It looks like the gang is mostly getting along; your troop is all-male? Blitz likes to play dominant male, which doesn't go well with insecure Blackie.
