I'm looking forward to a weekend of enforced rest that hopefully won't involve so much pain as to preclude writing. If painkillers are required, it may turn out like a sillier and less intelligible version of Ulysses, only not Irish. :D

Mr. 42, the angel of all things lovely, made pumpkin ice cream last weekend, so there will be loads! I'm also thinking of investing in some popsicle molds between now and then. I remember the homemade popsicles you used to make when we were small very fondly, and there's lots of amazing apple cider in stores now. And how much do I love that we have a real icemaker now? :D I'm planning to ice the heck out of my face to get the swelling down as soon as possible.
