One of my favorite rants about this movie came from Theide, who among other things said "Die Raimi, DIE!!!"

That's German. It means "The Raimi, THE!!!"

I loved it, I thought it was better than Spider-man 2. If any character got shafted here it was Sandman, he was little more than a walking plot device. The Venom obliteration hurts me, but not as much as seeing Brock get vaporized (since I can believe a symbiote might grow back). If only Peter had grabbed one of Goblin's normal explosive pumpkins instead of his thermonuclear variety that he would never use against Spider-man.

It was missing the music. But Austin Parker would be an apt description.

Except Austin isn't emo, and Parker couldn't swing like a monkey if he had a load of bananas and flung his poo.

That small part which Dr. Connor has of the symbiote might be able to generate the Carnage symbiote but honestly, a chance to bring back Venom? I don't see it happening unless they do the Mac Gargan Venom-- whom, I think needs to be killed off...

Brock is the true Venom. Not Gargan...

Though the Carnage idea isn't too bad.
