I had better get back into the habit of posting in this journal before school starts again or I'll never update it once school schedules start taking up my time. Had a great summer, ended up travelling all over the country for the first month, then back here for the second, to relax a bit and prepare for the new semester. Something is going on.

I know there's something going on. Something big, something worrying. McGonagall, Dumbledore (who seems to be quite well now), Lupin...they've all been a little scarce in the last day or two, and few times I've seen them it's been obvious that they're worried about something--even I'm not that thick ( Read more... )

I feel as though I've been making too many private posts of late, that to the students especially it must look as though I've given this up.  Either that or I just post public notes about the classes, while this entire experiment is about communication and discussion within the school.

It's quite amazing how, over the last couple days, the castle has gone from a busy, noisy place, to one of near-complete silence. All I could hear at breakfast this morning was the low buzzing of hundreds of students doing repetitions under their breath ( Read more... )

Hrm, not much to report besides the usual.  Have been meeting with students much of the time, preparing for OWLs and NEWTs, marking end-of-term projects...

Have had a few interesting meetings with a couple sixth-years about their projects for next year, as some of them, either due to the time needed for the project or the nature of the study, will ( Read more... )
