Thank you! :D
My glasses are supposed to be ready today...but I have my doubts, if my dealings with SpecSavers in the past is anything to go by!

Ooh, you give me hope with your cat experience! :D I've heard some people say that they don't miss being outside if they've never known it, others saying that yes they do...seems to depend on the cat in question, at least a bit. Hmmm. And I'd still need my landlord's permission too, and then what if I have to move and I can't find somewhere that will let me have pets??? It's hard to know what to do ( ... )

GET ONE. IS YOUR LANDLORD OKAY WITH KITTIES?

I'm not sure yet, I have to ask! It just says something about landlord's permission in the rent agreement, so that doesn't help. Was thinking I might ask in the new year, if I think it will work, once I'm back from Denmark (can't really get a cat before then anyway) - especially since I am currently hassling them to fix my tv antenna cabling. Ask for one thing at a time is best, I think. :)

Yay awareness! :D

I quite enjoyed the Green Hornet movie too, much more than I thought I would at least. I was expecting it to be pretty much a silly action thing with some gadgets but I'm really glad they went the way they did with it.

I think you could probably have a cat in there but I guess there's always a risk given that you're so close to that major road and all. Are you planning to stay in that place for a while? I've heard it's pretty hard on them when you move as well.

Also gogo tiny Hit Girl! :D

Yeah, I assumed it was a standard superhero movie too - pleased to discover I was wrong! :D

Yeah, I am planning on staying in this place, the trouble with renting is it's not entirely under your control, is it! I mean, what if they sell the house or something and kick me out? It's happened before...

Hmm yeah I guess that's always a factor. I think generally it doesn't happen too often though unless it's an old place that the owner is either intending to sell off and get rid of or maybe use the land or the house for themselves later. With a unit it's probably a lot less likely to happen since even if they sold it they're probably selling it to someone else who's going to be letting people rent it.

Hmm, good point! :D That gives me a bit of hope. :) Of course, they could also put up the rent a whole lot so I can't afford it, but lets hope that doesn't happen!

Asexual Awareness Week high five!

Ooooh, coat. Can't wait to see. Coat coat coat.

My roommate just got a kitten today, which basically means I just got a kitten today and it's the best thing ever so far. She's tiny and friendly and and follows you around until you pick her up and then she'll just purr and purr and purr... <3 She's going to be an indoor cat because our area is dangerous what with all the cars, and also Mr. Bread is concerned with protecting native bird populations. Guess we'll see how it goes? Good luck with your own cat quest!
