It has been two standard days since he found himself landing on the Sith forsaken planet of Rattatak. Barren wasteland, couldn't even come close to describing this wretched place. But his never ending search brought him here and he wasn't about to turn away now because of some foolish lingering memories of the past. Though simular in some ways to

A short cry is heard and the fighter realizes the child had come out of her trance like state and is startled by the fact she isn't alone. Her heart softens at the little one as the child’s cryptic words still lingers in her thoughts. If we are to die so be it, so long as the children are unharmed she thinks before whispering to Kanya.
"Kanya return to the camp, quickly."
The little girl looks up at her in confusion but the silent affirmation in the woman's eyes tells her now is not the time to argue and so she takes off back in the direction she has come.
Turning her attentions now to the voice she draws her blade.
Show yourself.
She states firmly sensing a darkness but unsure where it is coming from ( ... )

I don't like your friend. He isn't very nice.
She pauses casting her a shy glance before looking away as a hint of a smile crosses her pale features.
Thank you for not letting him kill me.
She wants to ask why she was spared but she decides now is not the time and soon she is silent once more.

Asajj puts the ship on autopilot and turns looking towards the young girl. "You'll be a great apprentice. That is the only reason why I spared you from the dark man."

But Asajj's final words causes Kanya to study her for a moment in surprised silence. The Jedi said said she would make a good Padawan when she was first taken with them though she didn't know what exactly that meant. Yet as Asajj speaks of her being an apprentice somehow it strikes a familar chord and it seems to encourage her as she smiles looking a little hopeful.
You're going to teach me how to be a fighter?
Furrowing a brow she then realizes that she doesn't even know this woman's name nevermind anything else.
I am called Ratana Kanya. But I like being called Kanya best.

"Well, Ratana Kanya, I am Asajj Ventress." She states simply giving a slight nod. "We're going back home."

When do I get to learn?
She asks quickly before going silent as Asajj introduces herself and tells her they are now going home. Glancing out the window she sighs softly in relief. Even if her home wasn't exactly peaceful it was certainly more safe then being always on the run, especially with her new master near she would finally have nothing to fear. Not even the dark man could harm her now.
I am glad to meet you Lady Asajj.
She says politely bowing slightly in traditions of greeting.

I can really have one of my own?
I wasn't allowed to have one when I was with those Jedi, they said it was too dangerous for me.
She admits deciding being with Asajj was by far better then being with the strict fighters who were more concerned about keeping her out of trouble then showing her their skills.

I wish tomorrow was here right now.
She remarks as she glances out the window as though hoping to find something outside that would make time move faster.

Is this your ship?
She asks finally wondering if perhaps she had a master who owned it.

For Asajj's Master is dead. Ky Narec is dead. He'd been the Jedi who had trained her. Had taken her under his wing. He was dead because of the Jedi. And then there'd been Count Dooku. But he too was dead.
