[[ DDDX Sai wants to join, but I'm leaving for the beach today. He's looking for Naruto in spirit, though. And I will force Sasuke to Twister when I get back.]]

Atem didn't have enough to do, and therefore, he was bored. It was warm so he'd decided to venture outdoors and take a walk, wandering a bit aimlessly, thoughts drifting as he did so. At least, until he sensed someone's presence; someone he wasn't entirely familiar with, and that drew his attention.

Turning to look for the source, he noticed Sasuke. He hesitated a moment about whether to speak with the shinobi, but eventually decided to see what he was doing. He seemed really focused on something, after all. "Sasuke." He greeted, approaching.

He glanced back when he heard his name, pausing and ignoring the way the waves swept up the beach and over his bare feet. Atem. Or "the other Yuugi", as his roommate called him.

"You again. What are you doing out here?" It wasn't accusing or even really all that inquisitive. No, Sasuke was distracted for once.

"Nothing." Atem answered honestly, though it had taken him a moment to tell what Sasuke's tone had meant. "You seem to have a reason, however. Is something going on?" The other boy seemed distracted, and Atem was curious as to why.

"I'm looking for someone," he answered curtly. "So if you want to talk then walk with me as well." Sasuke turned to continue his little trek down that beach, heading south.

Hakkai was calmly wandering around outside with Hakuryuu perched on his shoulder. While the youkai may have looked calm, his thoughts were near to bubbling over. As usual, Hakkai let very little show on his face. It had been rather quiet for quite some time. That may have made some people happy, but it only made Hakkai nervous. He certainly didn't mind a few days of peace and relaxation (his home life was chaotic enough), but this was a bit much.

The headmistress wouldn't just give us this much of a respite. I'm rather concerned that this is the calm before the storm. Quite a storm I'm sure it's going to be too. He reached up to rub Hakuryuu's head, still lost in his own thoughts and concerns.

Which made two of them. Or three, if Hakuryuu was to be counted. Sasuke fingered the shuriken in his pocket idly, looking very much like a troubled individual. This place was getting to him, and now that Naruto was missing it was even worse.

He paused when he realized he was no longer alone, gripping that shuriken more firmly out of reflex.

"Cho Hakkai... right?" Sasuke didn't bother to turn back, able to recognize that energy without too much trouble. After all, who other than Teito had a small pet dragon?

Hakkai was rather surprised with himself for not noticing he wasn't alone. He was usually rather perceptive. In fact, he rarely allowed himself not to be. Drawn out of his thoughts, Hakkai gave Sasuke a small smile. "Indeed. You would be Sasuke if I remember correctly."

Now that Hakkai was once again focused on what was happening in the "real world" more than he was focused in his own head, he could easily tell that something was bothering Sasuke. He made no comment of it yet.

"Aa." Slowly he turned, looking back at the man standing a little ways behind him. If he'd actually managed to surprise Hakkai then he figured it was fair; being welcomed to this place by a dragon flying straight at his face had been surprising as well, after all.

"Preoccupied?"

Too bad Sasuke isn't going to find the blond idiot who got himself lost. Instead, the Uchiha will find another ninja... or rather they would just come across one another.

Hidan walked barefoot and shirtless through the small waves, twirling a kunai around on his finger out of sheer bordom. His other hand was snug in his pocket. Safe to say, he was just being lazy and enjoying the evening. Sure, he had training to do but hell if he didn't stay fit by just existing.

The ninja blinked once he came across the Uchiha, having only seen him at that party before and talked a little over the computers -- he still didn't quite get it but that's why Pein made him a grunt.

"Yo, you still looking for the fox?" He called out, slipping the kunai in the pouch on his right side.

Well, that was a voice he wasn't going to forget anytime soon. Sasuke narrowed his eyes, voice irritatingly smooth and calm when he responded.

"Still looking for a way out of this place?"

Fox... Why the hell would he call Naruto something like that?

Hidan could just feel his eyebrow twitch because of the others smartass remark. "Man, fuck you... Isn't everyone, anyway?" He stopped just few feet away, watching the other.

"Doesn't seem that way, not for some people." He glanced back, looking slightly irked. He was in the middle of something, after all, and his relationship with Hidan wasn't the best. He was a dangerous idiot, the worst combination.

"Want something?"
