*novels dutifully added to watch/basket at both Amazons* If what Russell semi-joked about during the podcast for TND is any indication, I wouldn't necessarily assume these are the last Ten books. I could easily see the BBC taking up the old 'Missing Adventures' mantle and continuing to publish Ten-era books so long as they're popular. If they can keep churning out Martha books well after that ship has sailed, I don't know why they'd abandon Ten so quickly.
*still irritated they wasted a Donna novel on crap that happened during the third series, can you tell?*
I can see why they mightn't want to open up a Ten II/Rose can of worms, but I'd love to see those become books or audios or both. Same thing with what Rose was going through leading up to Turn Left.
Speaking of which, and not that you're not busy with other stuff, but I have a fic challengesque post here about TL, and another post that could be construed as a fic challenge, especially for fellow Old SchoolersMy take on the DVD thing being outed is that it's meant to be a

Eeeek. I am, unfortunately, of no help there. Give me a train wreck any day, but computers? I'm clueless.
*COUGH COUGH*AGREES WITH PRIN CHAPTER6SEULS?*coughcough*
*laughs* Second person!
The only problem with having the left wrist/hand out of commission is not with work (I have staff and can dictate if I have to), but more with the kidlings, esp. the baby. She is a mommy's girl and is going through a stage where she wants nothing to do with daddy. It's sad!
I'd like to think that's the case, but she'll go to her papa and Uncle Scott fairly readily, but if there's a choice between mommy and daddy? It's mommy every time. My eldest was the opposite - it's weird.
XD;;; Yes, and I agree with Prin, didn't want to nag!
BTW, CONGRATS on the teaspoon approval! :D
awwwwwwwwwwww! XD; I think all girls go through the "I only want mommy" stage at least once. Mine.. lasted a bit longer but that delves into many ... "deeper" seated issues.
*hughug* I'm sure she'll love Daddy again...someday... when she's forced to carpool with her sister and still can't date until she's 83... on second thought... ;) jk!
Nagging's OK - I do tend to forget about stuffs sometimes. *grins*
BTW, CONGRATS on the teaspoon approval! :D
Pbbbbbt! That was silly. At least it went through before Chapter 7 gets posted! I'm thinking about not posting there anymore, actually. BTW, do you know if the Teaspoon folks are in any way affilited with the CoT awards that everyone seems to be gushing about?
I think all girls go through the "I only want mommy" stage at least once.
Heh. I just spent the last 3 DAYS alone with baby (Daddy and the older two were away skiing this weekend), so it'll be worse than ever. *grimaces* Although, her vocab is quite good for just turning two in October. They asked me at her two-year-old check up if she was able to string together two words for a sentence, and I'm afraid I laughed at them. Example of one of Keira's sentences: 'No, no Daddy - you are yucky. I want Mommy!' All this while swinging her tiny fist in the air. Trufax!
Nagging's OK - I do tend to forget about stuffs sometimes. *grins* Ditto, I can't fail others for the EXACT same problem I have! XD;
BTW, do you know if the Teaspoon folks are in any way affilited with the CoT awards that everyone seems to be gushing about? Sadly? I have absolutely NO idea. I'd heard about the CoT awards but... not until everyone started gushing? XD; Seriously, if I had any IDEA what they were, I'd have voted you in for THatH by now. :3 From what I'm getting it's a Who related voting... thing? Winners get... urm... bragging rights? That's all I know *hughug* Keep me posted if you find any info. XD; I've been a bit lazy with it.
I finally got around to working with the beta's you and Measi got me! XD; So that's a start for me! XD;
*gigglesnort* She sounds like SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun!!! Mainly the fist thing. My niece will shout things like that... but no fists... just OBSTINANCE! (lots and lots of it) ;) Poor Dad, hopefully she warms again soon!

I'm only asking because someone (haven't been able to figure out who - nobody's owning up) actually did nominate me - for THANTH in whatever the 'novel' category is, and for Seuls as a WIP. I was starting to wonder if Teaspoon hadn't validated my latest chapter because I hadn't accepted the nomination - still haven't decided whether or not to, actually. The entire thing seems a bit contrived and silly.
She sounds like SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun!!! Oh, she is. She's very, very smart and is going to be a handful. Help!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh... that makes sense! Congrats, for what it's worth? XD; I have NO IDEA what they are? And yes, I'd agree (contrived and silly) but I believe that of most things involving voting (they always end up a popularity contest).
XD;;; *Snort* You DO have a handful. The intelligent ones are the worst! (we should know really ;) We are quite intelligent.) That's awesome though! That she's getting so much out at her age. She's surrounded by intelligence! Just keep her brain engaged so she doesn't get lazy (like I have in recent years XD;)

That and the fact that it's fanfic? That you really have no ownership over? *shakes head* I dunno.

Heh. She's just getting into the 'terrible twos' stage, so my main goal right now is to diffuse/avoid the dreaded temper tantrums! So far, she's a bit better than her sisters, as she usually only had them when she's overtired, so I can just throw her in her crib and let her ride it out there. I am a terrible mother! *laughs* She usually goes to sleep fairly readily after she has one, poor

That and the fact that it's fanfic? That you really have no ownership over? *shakes head* I dunno.Good point. I'd say it's a nice "fandom" recognition. Now if you got recognition for something of your own, artwork, novel, job well done etc, that would probably be more worthwhile. XD; Let's just say things like that are one of the reasons I will only do fanart if requested. :3 (you and Prin are the only two to request so far... and even then... yours... or at least what I have lying in my brain waiting to come out is less fanarty. XD

XD;;; OH GOD NO! My mother? I remember this time, I couldn't have been older than 4-5 years of age? I had a temper tantrum in the grocery store or something like Target because she wouldn't buy me something or other? THREW A Tantrum. What did she do? (normally I'd glare at someone who did this XD;) Basically went through the store putting EVERYTHING back while I was having my tantrum and going "See? All those people are so upset by your behavior we have to go home now. Maybe next time you'll behave and can get *whatever it was here*" My parents BEST weapon against me? GUILT. Which is odd. It's also why I'm also (in my opinion) not easily embarassed? My nieces throw tantrums... if I'm there it's "Aunty Roxy isn't going to

Don't dance too long! I need my programs to get here!

XD; Yeah, I know the girls I used to babysit? ugh. very VERY spoiled... mom would kind of "buy things" to appease them. So, when mom would leave me money and say "Take them to eat, and take them shopping." their dad was always suprised I still came home with 20$ at the end of the night most nights. When asked why? "They didn't behave well enough to constitute buying them anything." And considering they were old enough to know better... lets just say Dad REALLY REALLY liked that. Mom had to get used to it... but I'm just glad they had one person tell them no in their lives. I think it's going to be hard enough as it is for the younger one (she's not used to not getting her way). The eldest, luckily, caught on rather quick. XD but... I think that's because I was a big role model in her life at a young age. Wonder how those two are doing now. One went to NYC for school the younger? I'm... not completely sure?Good for you. There's way too many young people out

XD; Auntie Roxy's Temper Tantrum Fixes. XD; It depends on the situation. If it's something that causes them to hurt each other (Amily hitting Ruby or being mean). Usually there's punishment involved (from Mom, if she's thare, from me or Ed if we're sitting). If it's not to HARSH and it's just a matter of getting their mind off of it? XD; Distraction is key, but as you said waiting it out. I'm a player tho... I'll play with kids to keep their minds off of things (again, unless they need a repremanding, then playtime's out for a bit.) Amily's is usually (from me) "Behave for your mummy or I won't read to you tonight." And that usually keeps her calm for awhile XD; Eddie told me yesterday that his sister has a new word to keep them in line "NANNY MCPHEE" Evidently they were quite freaked out by her

Ah didn't know.
I'll be skipping from Photoshop 7 all the way up to CS4 in the next couple of months, although at least I don't have Vista to contend with.
