Revamped Repost-- "Stereotypes in the 'Verse"

I saw something posted the other day, and it reminded me of the time I tried to push down my ire and initially and not make a fuss about it.  And then I realized, after seeing the post, that yes, it still pisses me off.  So this is me, and some ponderings.

I don't like setting limits on writing.  As a writer, I can't possibly.  However

I too would have loved to have seen where Kendra would have gone. However, I also loved Faith's arc. I think it would have been neat had Kendra did the whole "died for a few seconds and came back" thing like Buffy, so we'd still get Faith, but that Kendra, having this literal second lease on life, quits slaying. For someone so dedicated to the job and literally had no childhood because of it...I think there's a great story there.
