While I'm one of the people who am glad you aren't faced with moving to MI, and who wanted to talk about how you were handling that as a couple (given that it could conceivably come up with my career)....doesn't it stink when a job is only posted for legal purposes?!?

Handling job moves as a couple started only a few months after we were dating and he moved to Seattle. I spent a year in NJ and we dated bi-coastally. It was rough, but strengthened us. I figured out that between my job at the time and him - I was way more interested in figuring out where we were going together than I was in following that particular career. But when we talked about and I said I wanted to move to Seattle, we also talked about future potential moves ( ... )

That really stinks. It's bad when they have someone in mind and pretend the job is really available.
