Tehe, I hope they do. I'd just like to find a balance. Combine recreational fandom with scholarly interst in university work. That'd be good. I suspect I'm mainly just being melodramatic.Hopefully at some point over the weekend I'll find that while I am interested in my uni work, I also want to write/read manga, and then I can structure my days around a happy blend of the two.

I wish I was in the fandom phase you're in. o_0 I'm in one of the most intense phases of my life academically-speaking, and it would be superb if the fic machine in my head finally turned off, but no. Seems to be gearing up, even. Then again, that may have something to do with stress level - when uni's too much to bear and everything's very tense, I turn to fic for reprieve. When I'm fine with what I'm doing and academically satisfied, my urge lessens.

Either way, your fic mojo will undoubtedly return, most likely at the most inconvenient time. That's inevitably the way these things go. >>;

Ah dear. I recall that feeling. It feels strange to be complaining that I'm feeling the need to be studious - it's actually nice to be enjoying studying subjects that I usually complain about, but at the same time I wish I could be doing both. Enjoying contract law theory, but also enjoying writing fic/original fiction as the mood strikes me. I'm hoping that studying might fire up some inspiration, because as you say, I find I always write more when I don't really have time to write. As soon as I have free time, the Muses aren't interested any more. Damn them.

Hmm, maybe I like Grimm on top because I always see Ulqui as the instigator, so I always see him as being in control, whether or not he's actually topping. He reminds me a bit of Cain, in this bizarre way. In that I write Cain on the bottom but he's always on the top really. Ditto Cesare.

I'm always so disturbed when I find myself willingly choosing study over a fandom wallow. Fortunately, it rarely occurs and never lasts long. :p If you have been subjected to alien experimentation, never fear: the aliens might have their weapons, but so do the predators (aka the fangirl union), and they will reclaim you soon. :3

Regarding your fourth point: I hate being bombarded with random porn advertisements. Just because a site features some explicit (illustrated) content doesn't mean that every person who accesses it is going to want to have graphic (real-life) pictures thrown at them. Okay, I'm of an age not to be traumatised by these things, but it's still awkward. It makes me far too wary of even innocent searches.

Thankyou for all the lovely pictures. <3 The only problem I find with gorgeous images like these is that I inevitably become curious about the backstory and want to hunt down more. That lovely boy in your first picture, for example, is going to haunt my dreams. Not knowing who he is will TORTURE me.

LOL, well, I'm happy to be reclaimed. Actually, that's not wholly true. I would like to find a peaceful balance between study and recreational fandom. That would be pleasant. And as I am a perpetually unbalance person, it would be unusual as well. :p

Exactly. I mean, I'm not permanently scarred, I just don't like it. Yes, I am looking at explicit/erotic drawn pictures, it doesn't mean I want to see a whole lot of penis. Really. I'd be happy with my suggestive/semi-smutty pictures. Usually I don't even particularly like fanart that shows a huge amount - it's hotter when it's not all out there. It's such a pain, it always curtails my desire to search for fanart.

Tehe, well, after further rumination I can confirm his identity. He is indeed Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy VII. For Vincent yumminess, I recommend the FF VII movie Advent Children (also featuring the bishie in my icon and various other gorgeous men), or the PS2 game Dirge of Cerebrus. He doesn't usually look quite so bishie-esque, but he's still a hottie and a half.
