Bus pet peeve #198890: people who "shift" over to let you get out of your seat.

Yesterday I was riding the bus home, with my big gym bag, and I was sitting in the window seat. A woman sat down beside me for most of the way. Before my stop, I pulled the bell, and turned to the woman beside me and said, " excuse me".

I have the worst headache ever right now. I've been drinking water like mad, in case it's a dehydration headache, but it won't go away! Then I ate some more food in case it was a hunger headache, and that didn't help. Now I'm trying a good ol' 400mg (or whatever unit drugs are measured in) pill of ibuprofen ( Read more... )

For all you waiting with bated breath to hear about my second attempt with the oatmeal (Brown Sugar Cinnamon, 1/3 less the sugar!), things went simultaneously better and worse than yesterday.

On the plus side, I brought milk this morning (the right amount) and I must say, having enough liquid (milk or water) in the oatmeal made a huge difference. ( Read more... )
