I might be moving to Hobart.

It has always been in the back of my mind that eventually I should move down there to care for my parents, both in their 70's; Mum can't drive and Dad's mobility is becoming more limited over time: a heart op and multiple knee ops. Also Dad's becoming worse at concentrating, meaning his driving is becoming worse too.

Secrets are funny things. We tend to look suspiciously at secrets and those who keep them. And sure, there are those who can use such a knowledge imbalance for harm.

A pleasant, low-key visit to the folks. At one point we thought Dad would be in hospital to fix his knees (large man, in his 70's, his knees have ceased being reliable.)
