...I'm baa-ack!
A pleasant, low-key visit to the folks. At one point we thought Dad would be in hospital to fix his knees (large man, in his 70's, his knees have ceased being reliable.) But then they moved his op again, so they were both home. Mum and I visited the Salamanca Markets on Saturday, and did a bit of a shop on Tuesday. Monday evening I met with Mary, and old friend from the mob who used to meet Thursday nights. She moved down to Tassie with her partner.
Just generally an enjoyable time.
Outside of Hobart itself, the place is very quiet. Not surprising when you realise the population of Hobart is about 0.05 Sydney's.
