*ROFL* That was hysterical! I haven't laughed so much in ages! I don't know which bit I loved more, his encounter with the Dursleys, the drunken Potterwatch (or should that now be "Wotcherpot"?? LOL)or his return home. Drunk!newdaddy!Remus is so funny and cute, I both wanna give him a big hug and push him under the shower to get rid of the stench (fully clothed, naturally ; ) )

Oh, yay, I'm so happy to have provided a laugh! I know I giggled far too much while writing this; I just hoped the humor would translate. ;)

Oddly, I think the Dursley scene was my favorite to write for some reason; I've always thought they were a delightfully appalling family, and somehow they're even more delightful to write, maybe because they seem the type to provide Remus with the perfect opportunities to be his smart-ass self. So I'm thrilled you liked that scene, as well as Potterwatch/Wotcherpot, which was also great fun; I think I might have a slight crush on Lee Jordan...

I was tempted to write you a TTTW fic for your birthday, but my one idea didn't seem very birthdayish, and anyway I was more in an R/T mood, and when I sat down to mull over birthdayish R/T plots, this was the first bunny that popped into my mind. I thought you might be pleased with it, and I'm thrilled that you liked it so much! I really wanted it to be right for you, and to include all those crazy ideas we talked about, as well as a few surprises. (The Dursleys surprised me, lol

Incredibly, I think the hilariousness of this fic can be summed up in one line:

If Andromeda was touched by the sentiment of the statement, the feelings were promptly obliterated by Remus' resounding belch in her ear.
