Awww, this was just what I needed today. You two are marvels -- this whole correspondence is just so perfectly R/T, with the silly jokes and lighthearted banter that draws them together in the first place, and then the tentative soul-baring and secret hopes, mixed with a dash of self-doubt and misunderstanding ( ... )

Aw, it's so lovely to know this came at the right time! (There's a fic of yours I've had waiting for an end of the day treat, which I have to say is also very well timed. ;))

And it's even lovelier to know you liked this so much. :) The brains behind this little operation were very much gilpin25's, who wrote so convincingly as Remus that I really felt a bit antsy every time I checked my email, hoping for another letter from him! Very glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks the notes feel authentic. And so pleased you think Tonks' does, as well, although again I think that became very easy because of the great material gilpin25 provided for me to reply to ( ... )

Ooh, this was so great to read. The letters sounded very...real, the way I'd imagine them to write, and the handwritten ones looked it, too.
Oh, and I adore the goat cards :-)

Thank you so very much! We were definitely hoping these letters would read like they were written by Remus and Tonks. I know I certainly felt like I was getting letters from Remus when gilpin25 was sending them to me! Thrilled you liked the goat cards, too! That was all gilpin25's idea, and she found that first image of the grinning goat who looks so like Aberforth, and then we just couldn't believe it when we found one with an almost bandit mask! It was like those goats knew the jokes that were made about them. ;)

Anyway, just so happy you enjoyed this installment, and we hope that sticky toffee pudding tides you over till the next set of letters! :)

Ladies, you've out-done yourselves! This just what I needed for a Monday!

The letter format is very cute and I really like the various cards and puns! LOL! I'm totally mooning over this Remus, especially the following lines:
I promise to step aside the minute I see Kirley or anyone else approaching to carry you off, but until then I assure you that I will easily be the most envied man in the room. Especially if you wear your hair that sunset pink.

Apart from the odd plate smashing incident we won’t mention because I still find it hard to believe my innocent remark made you jump so. No one should have a china pattern like that anyway.

Many times during this week I’ve wished you were here to see something with me, or laugh at something, and I wish it now most of all.Sorry but I really could quote more, but then that'd be the whole fic and that seems a little excessive ( ... )

Aw, thank you so much! I know for me this has been one of the most fun writing experiences I've had, going back and forth writing replies to what really felt like getting sweet letters from Remus, and it's a pleasure to know you've found gilpin25's Remus just as sweetly eloquent and squishable with his quill pen as I did. ;)

Thanks so much for your comments about Tonks! I always love writing her, but found her particularly easy to channel as a girl getting letters from the lovely Remus. ;) Their banter and jokes were so much fun to write, that I'm very glad this is going to be a two-parter, and even more glad that you want it to be a two-parter, too! And of course we're both so pleased the underlying issues didn't get lost underneath the goat jokes and pics, because we neither one feel the issues should be too far away even in a romantic comedy!

Enjoy your sticky toffee pudding, which you've richly earned for these lovely comments. Thank you again, so much, from both of us. :)

Oh that was great! I loved how the voice changed form letter to letter, both you and Gilpin25 captured them very well!

And I love how it started out as very carefree and friendly, with all the goat jokes (even though I didn't really get the first one), to becoming more serious for a moment, and then back to carefree. I especially liked Tonks' drunken letter, very nice! I can't wait until the next part comes out to see how everything.

That Toffee pudding looks wonderfully fattening, I can't wait to have some with Remus! XD.

Thank you very much! These letters were so fun to write, and I think I owe a lot of credit to gilpin25 for writing such a wonderful Remus for me to respond to as Tonks. Closest thing I'll ever get to receiving letters from Remus. ;)

Very glad you like all the jokes -- neither of us can resist a good (bad?) pun, hehe. The drunken letter was a blast to write! Just couldn't resist the idea of all the possibilities a tipsy Tonks at a wizarding club with a swimming pool. ;)

Enjoy your toffee pudding, which of course has no fat because it's magical! But it tastes like it does. ;) We're so appreciative of your feedback. :)

Y'all WIN! I am so in love with the both of you!

First off, everyone has remarked about the authentic feel to the letters. I concur. Then, everything is so creative - the details you include give me the feeling I'm living these few days with them. The romance is the nervous butterflies kind; I can feel it as I read.

Why thank you very much! We're so very pleased these letters felt like R/T to you, and even more that you felt right there with them. That's such a lovely compliment about the nervous butterfly feeling of a new romance, which is exactly what we were hoping to convey.

Enjoy fantasizing about Remus...only you have to wait till I'm done with him. And gilpin25 would probably dispute whether she's shared him with me yet. ;)

Really do appreciate your feedback! :D
